2000 Viking Convertible

The Viking 55 Convertible is a world-class tournament machine with aggressive styling, remarkable accommodations, and exceptional performance. The flybridge features hard top with newer Strataglass enclosure, 39' Lee outriggers, rocket launchers, electric teaser reels, and spreader lights. The centerline helm station has twin Stidd helm chairs and custom console with built-in electronics boxes. There's a full complement of electronics including: Furuno 72-mile radar, Horizon GPS/chart plotter, Furuno color sounder, Datamarine digital depth sounder, Garmin GPS/chart plotter, Robertson auto pilot, Sea HS/SSB, and Icom VHF radio. There's guest seating to each side with a storage locker up front.

The 153-square feet of cockpit gives you more than enough workspace, and includes Stidd fighting chair, prep station with sink, cockpit engine controls, live well, tackle locker, fish boxes, rod holders, transom door, fresh and saltwater wash down, and a cockpit freezer for all your catch. The foredeck includes stainless steel bow rail, electric dinghy davit, dinghy chocks, 6-person life raft, and bow pulpit with anchor and electric windlass.

The interior is large, open, and comfortable. The carpeted salon has an L-shaped settee with large ottoman facing a full length entertainment center. Forward we the full galley port side with two Sub-zero refrigerators, Sub-zero freezer, three-burner electric cooktop, Sharp microwave/convection oven, upper and lower cabinets with lots of storage, a spacious Corian counter top with sink and garbage disposal, and teak & holly sole. For overnight and extended fishing trips there are three staterooms. The master stateroom is port side with island queen berth, under-berth storage, night stands, credenza, dresser, large hanging locker, TV with SAT, accent lighting, and ensuite head compartment. The forward VIP stateroom also has offset berths, hanging locker, TV with VCR, accent lighting, and access to the guest head. The guest stateroom has upper & lower bunks, under berth storage, hanging locker, TV, accent lighting, and head access. The guest/day head is located between the VIP and guest staterooms with access from both staterooms and the companionway. The laundry room is located off the companionway just forward of the dinette and is equipped with a Kenmore over/under washer dryer. Lots of room and first class accommodations makes the fishing all the more enjoyable.

Performance is provided by twin MAN diesel engines generating 1200 horsepower each with a cruising speed of 32 knots and a top speed around 36 knots. She has an Onan 7.5kW generator, four Cruiseair reverse cycle HAC units, Sea-Fire engine room fire suppression, bridge controlled trolling gears, S&K water maker, central vacuum, and even features a clothes wash and dryer.
