DescriptionWe've owned this boat since 2000. Pulled the boat to do some work and ended up buying a bigger boat for our expanding family. Sleeping five is too many for this 28'er. While the boat was out of the water the following was performed. Installed a swim platform and had the hull painted with epoxy. (Work done by "Stearns" Albany Ky.) Engine pulled, and a partial rebuild completed, including: gasket set, polished crank, all bearings, high volume oil pump, electronic ign, new carb, double roller time chain, dual oil filter kit, wiring harness, Taylor plug wires. All engine bolts replaced with stainless bolts and ant seize. New "correct sacrificial anodes" from Marinette, cutlass bearing. Michigan prop refurbished. New poly gas tank for today?s fuels. New Atwood blowers (2) for evac of engine fumes. New K/N marine grade air filter. New Upholstery, new Crown Head motor, Interior parts, tinted windows, v-birth remodeled. New AC fridge, 12 buss fuse panel, decking and royal blue canvas enclosures (tight fitting). Boat includes a portable front hatch A/C unit. Boat still needs exterior painting. Extremely hard work and money has gone into this boat while thinking we were going to keep it, yet 2 unexpected events have prevented the completion. We purchased the boat for 13,000 and have put thousands into the items listed above. Have many receipts, but the boat speaks for itself. One estimate for Emron paint was 3,000. Boat is selling without the trailer (trailer could be purchased for right price in addition). We will help with the transfer of boat to another trailer.
