Description40' Monk flybridge cruiser 1954: Powered with a single big block Chrysler V8 hemi gas motor. The aft stateroom has one double berth, one single berth and enclosed head. The forward stateroom has three single berths. There is access to the back deck from the stateroom and is the main entrance to the boat.
Surveyed May 2005, copy of report available This vessel was built by Vic Franck in Seattle Washington. They are still in business building and repairing boats. One top notch company. There is inside steering with access to the bridge from the main salon. The galley is on the portside: diesel stove, ice box, cold pressure water, raised dinette, steering on the starboard side. Forward are single bunks with a washroom in the bow. The toilet is currently removed from the forward washroom. Cruise Speed: 12-14 knots 8gph. Electronics: Raytheon 55 VHF, Seaview 600 depth sounder, Ritchie compass. Anchor Gear: Danforth with chain and rode, Ideal anchor windlass. Bottom painted 2003, new zinks at haul out in May 2005 New Flybridge canvas 2001 Starter, alternator, and ignition system replaced 2001 Full tune-up in 2006 Engine serviced in 2003, Starboard head rebuilt and general maintenance. The hull has been maintained to perfection by the current owner, including new hull paint in 2003 Engine
